‘Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots’ Fir

With only 30 days until the highly anticipated release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots remaining, the first review comes from the UK Official Playstation Magazine.

“Ultimately, this is a game for fans — and you should be one,” writes Paul Fitzpatrick. “As for Snake? It turns out his last stand really is his finest hour.”

The score, you may ask? 10 out of 10. Though it does come from a Playstation magazine, which the game is exclusive for, the review still holds weight and is only a taste, good or bad, of the reviews that will follow.

For months on end, fans and gamers have been anticipating Kojima’s last ‘at-the-helm’ Metal Gear Solid title. Will Kojima convey his vision on the PS3? His earlier comments (not all positive) about the power of the system and restraints of the blu-ray disc will all come to light June 12th. Did Kojima Productions and Konami create a must-have game for the Playstation 3?

The next set of reviews will be on their way soon enough. Let us see if Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots lives up to the hype. Platform Nation will bring you its review upon the game’s release.
