The answer to that is extremely awesome.
As many of you know my wife, Marlen, and I just recently had our first child (one month ago today). And I received a lot of messages from all of you guys telling the wife and I congratulations which was extremely awesome. We even received some gifts from some people in our gaming community which really meant a lot to us.
One of the gifts that we received was having Ashley and I actually featured on Inside Xbox.
To be actually featured on Inside Xbox was great, it brought hundreds of new people to Platform Nation as well as it showed me how tight the community really is.
<– Click this picture. That is a sample of what the Xbox community sent me. No joke, when the feature went live I was receiving between 1-3 Xbox Live messages ever minute. That was unbelievable. Even right now I am receiving at least 1 message every 10 minutes. I’m just speechless and amazed by this, I really am, and its just times like these that make be proud to be apart of this community, this close-knit group of amazing gamers.
So I want to thank all of you for all your support. The wife and I really appreciate everything you guys and girls are doing, I only wish I was able to thank all of you personally that sent me messages but I can only send out around 50 messages a day to people that are not on my friends list (trust me, I tried).
So thank you everyone, you all are amazing.

Platform Nation is a collaboration of several gaming podcasts who decided it would be best for our gamers, the podcasters and the rest of the gaming community if they came together to share efforts. Together we have a larger voice in the community for the gamers that we strive to speak for. We share the same forums and for the most part, share the same listeners. After all, we are a community, not a network.
