look man….. you can't give it such a bash. when igot the game i played ALL DAY FOR 3 DAYS! And all that about "hard core players". REALLY! I have Civ 4 and ive lost my liking to it. The guy above was right IT DIED AFTER CIV 3. but you are right about how it was dummed down and the price is to high. EVEN FOR normal fans of Civ. I miss threating the world with my nuclear arsenel and waging full nuclear war with my foes(like one game on civ3, where i was like a otttoman version of the Soviet Union!) So yeah…….

if they put it up at blockbuster I'll check it out. I really liked Rise of Nations and Warcraft 3 and Starcraft. I always wanted to play this one. I guess on the consoles is going to be a first.

Hey.. I remember these graphics, and those bright colors.. didn't this game used to be called SID MEIERS PIRATES? That game is like watching Curse of the Black Pearl – has some awesome themes, but is dumbed down with no violence or language, which I'm sure exactly what Civilization Revolution is. You should admit it, Civilization died after Civ3! A game that is 3D will never be a civilization game. Civ4 feels like you're like playing The Sims 2, or Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, i.e., crappy.

I really thought your review was very informational. I am not a hardcore Civ. fan and I played the demo and thought it was great! My friend that is much more into it had the other Civ. games and I couldn't really get myself into all the keyboard and mouse moves so I'm glad it came out for the Xbox 360!

Even though I to am a hardcore civ fan, I am still tempted to pick this up. I love civ 3, but my computer isn't advanced enough to handle civ 4. I still think I am going to get this when it comes out.
