Mötley Crüe’s New Album, “Saints of Los Angeles” Set to Hit Stores June 24th

New York (June 23, 2008) - This summer, rock royalty Mötley Crüe will bring the next generation of rock’s elite, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx:A.M. and Trapt, out on the road with them for the hottest event of the year: the first-annual “Crüe Fest”, a festival that will tour the U.S. and Canada throughout July and August proclaiming, “ROCK IS BACK!”
Partnering with video game phenomenon Rock Band, Crüe Fest will feature local championships at each tour location, giving fans the opportunity to become their very own rock star. At each stop on the tour, the fold-out Rock Band Second Stage Experience will provide fans with the chance to try out the Rock Band game as a bassist, guitarist, drummer or vocalist with the winners performing on the main stage as opening acts for the headliners.
The popularity of Rock Band has been a major element in the resurgence of rock music. In an industry first, title track “Saints of Los Angeles” premiered as a download for Rock Band simultaneously with its single release and made an impressive debut selling 58,249 tracks via the hugely successful and critically acclaimed music video game -which was more than five times the downloads on iTunes in its first week.
Contestants can perform “Saints Of Los Angeles” at Crüe Fest beginning on the first day of the tour, July 1st. The top-scoring team will win the local Rock Band Championship and the ultimate Rock Star experience. This will include the following:

The trek kicks off July 1st in West Palm Beach, Florida and works its way across North America for over 40 dates throughout July and August. Mötley Crüe will also release Saints of Los Angeles, their first new studio album recorded with all of the original band members in over a decade, on June 24th.
