UPDATE: We just found out that the Netflix-sharing feature will only be available to those with an Xbox Live Gold account and a premium account with Netflix. Not exactly free, but still, it’s pretty cool. -Ed.

This fall, get ready for everything to change. John Shappert, chief of Xbox Live, annoucmed that the Xbox would be “reinvented through software.”
Meaning a huge update. Gone are blades. Gone are gamerpics. Say hello to a rotating carousel of “channels.”

I agree with Scott here. I don't like the new dashboard. It's bland. I prefer the cartoony, stylish look of Mik's and the previous dashboards. I mean seriously…we spent so much time trying to get our gamerpics on there and now…they're pointless. I feel bad for all those people that bought gamerpics and themes.
Platform Nation is a collaboration of several gaming podcasts who decided it would be best for our gamers, the podcasters and the rest of the gaming community if they came together to share efforts. Together we have a larger voice in the community for the gamers that we strive to speak for. We share the same forums and for the most part, share the same listeners.
