Batman The Dark Night Movie review.

First things first, leave the kids at home. I had both my 8 and 5 year old with me and they were hating life. I saw several kids at the theater of the age of around 10 and under and they also seem restless. The movie is freaking 2 1/2 hours long, not bad for me, but bad for kids. Anyways, the movie was good, very good, the Joker played by the late Heath Ledger was the highlight of the movie. There was some great action scenes, but nothing that was like wow!!!! There was lots of talking, to explain the movie, which was good to follow the comic story. I kept hearing that it would be the shortest 2 1/2 hours ever, but I got to say, that it wasn’t.  They could of done without some scenes, like the Gordon family dilemma. The Joker controls the movie, Heath is perfect for the part, and makes the movie really feel dark. I felt that the new Mrs.Cruise was Terrible, and wish that Katie would of played the part once again. Overall solid and a great follow up to he first.

(FYI: Although the kids were restless, they seem to enjoy the Joker’s jokes and overall character)

TQ 8 out of 10 Michelas.
