TQcast 1st of the month newsletter/TQ updates post

What is up TQfam,

Today I bring you the first monthly TQ newsletter/TQ updates post, to keep you on the loop on what is going around the TQ sphere. If you hate reading, don’t worry, I will also have this via audio on TQcast Episode 40.

News:

  • TQcast Episode 40 is scheduled to be released on Monday August 4th
  • Starting August 5th TQcast will go back to its old schedule of a bi-weekly show. Why you ask? Simple, I want to give the TQfam the best quality show possible, with plenty of interesting content on every show. This will give us plenty of time to actually play games, watch movies, and review some LPs while mixing up the latest drinks, without interfering with our personal lives.
  • TQcast’s revamp. This is in the works, but no ETA yet. I’m planning on working on some new tracks, intros, outro and other things for the show, to give it a refreshed sound without changing up our structure. More details soon.
  • Dasetup Episode 4 is scheduled to be released on Monday August 4th
  • Dasetup Video Camera Idea: If you been wanting to tape your setup, but have no cam, please read here
  • TQvision Logo: TQcast is looking for a member of the TQfamily to create a TQvision logo, so go at it if interested. E-mail logos to tqcast@gmail.com
  • TQfam event: TQcast is working on setting a get together/event, in appreciation to our loyal TQfamily. The event will be held somewhere in San Diego later this year. We are thinking so far, food, music, video games, prizes, and of course drinks!!!! So if you are interested to come kick it with your TQfam, let us know.

Updates:

  • TQcast mix tape This is still in the works. In addition, if anyone in the TQfam has a self created track, and wants to have it on the TQcast mix tape, send it to us tqcast@gmail.com

Rumors and Questions:

Ok this is where I add any rumors or questions asked by the TQfam. I have plenty to share on this news letter from several of you on aim, twitter, skype, or e-mail. I will also read all these on EP40.

  • Is TQcast going all Playstation from here on out. Answer: The answer is no. Although we do cover plenty of PS3, our vision is all around. On the gaming part of our cast and blog, you will notice more PS3 talk and posts because it is reality. We have only dealt with the PS3 for the past several months. This doesn’t mean that we won’t cover any 360 or Nintendo news worth mentioning.
  • Is Filty coming back? Filty has retired from podcasting, but he will be seen and heard from time to time on TQcast.
  • Is it true that Desz and Michelle from videogameoutsiders met during E3 and had a few drinks: Yes very much true…… No not really, I don’t even think she made it to E3. But it would have been cool, she is very cool.
  • Is it true that Cheapy D from cheapassgamer.com denied your Tequila shot?: Unfortunately this one is true. I offered Cheapy D a shot, but I think he felt the big dawg drinker in me, and declined it. I think he was sticking to beer that night. Cool person to meet though, very down to earth and very tall.  CheapyDesz Flick
  • Is TQcast being sponsored: No, although we are working on getting Patron Tequila, or King Taco to sponsor us: we are not sponsored.
  • Is Juice ever going to get his PS3? That’s what he says.
  • Is it true that TQcast will be introducing a new cast to TQ: This one here was misunderstood: from a previous show. Before Dasetup launched, all the talk about the mystery project was indeed Dasetup. But don’t rule out the idea. I’ll leave it as that.
  • Is it true that Dasetup Episode 4 will break view records: Hahaha, you know who you are. I don’t know about breaking records, it’s not like we have millions of views on any of the episodes. The hard part about all these videos is getting them out there, promoting, and pimping them out. I will say that Episode 4 will be a bit different and will appeal to a new audience without a doubt. We are excited about the response Dasetup is receiving.
  • Any Chance of getting the TQcast headquarters Dasetup? Possibly in the near future.

Ok one last thing:

I want to encourage everybody to sign up for the Intense Debate Comments. You will be able to pimp out your profile and picture, so when you post comments on TQcast, you can actually see a picture and some contact info on it.
