Summer of Arcade: Braid

by Erik “Z thirteen07″ Johnsen

The next installment of the XBLA Summer of Arcade releases, Braid, will be ready for download on Wednesday, August 6.

Independent developer Johnathan Blow brings this puzzle-platformer to your Xbox 360. Starting from your home in the city you journey to different worlds to solve puzzles in your quest to rescue and abducted princess.

Although the backstory might sound a little like something you’ve played before, your method to completing your journey through each world will use a new technique: time manipulation.

You will be able to bend time to your will using various methods include rewinding, independent time streams, parallel realities, and more.

Developed by Number None, Inc., and published by Microsoft, “Braid” will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points worldwide and is rated E 10+ for Everyone
