The new downloadable effort from Insomniac, Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty will hit the Playstation Network August 21, 2008 for the PS3 for a price of $14.99. This will be the first downloadable game from Insomniac
Quest for Booty picks up where Tools of Destruction left off, with Clank having been taken by the time controlling Zoni. It looks like the trusty wrench Rachet sports will have new magnetic powers that can pull platforms towards Rachet and also be able to manipulate the environment in a few ways.
The only downside that I see is if you are used to the 20 or so hours of gameplay in the Ratchet and Clank series, this installment has only about 3 hours of gameplay, but for $14.99 I think it is a good deal.
Only 3 hours for $15? Rip off!
5 dollars an hour for a game? That's actually a pretty decent deal. And its a pretty great franchise. I'll buy
I like the idea of the downloadable content, but I won't buy it. I still need to play Tools of Destruction! Too many games to play! Argh!
