S.T.A.L.K.E.R Delayed

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, the PC only first person shooter/RPG will not be released August 29 as planned but will be delayed until September 5, publisher Deep Silver announced today.

Clear sky is the prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl and takes place a year earlier and explains a little more about Sterloks past and the unexplained twisting of the Zone.

In this installment you play as a mercenary named Scar, who is out to kill the Stalker Sterlok.  The game is still set in the zone.  Weapons and armor will be repairable and something new will be added to both a new upgrading system. You will also meet up with some of the characters from Shadows of Chernobyl.

The game will require the same minimum system requiements as the previous game, although recommended requirements are higher.
