The Last Guy Out Today

The Last Guy for the PS3 is available today for download from the Playstation Network for $9.99  This top-down action game places you as a mysterious mutant who gathers the survivors of a strange event that turned many people into fierce monsters and get them in lines and lead them through the streets.

The streets may look familiar to some because the game uses actual high-resolution satellite imagery of some of the worlds major cities such as, Tokyo, London and Los Angeles.

There are ten monsters in all including the Insect Monster that will hunt you down and the Gatekeeper Monster that will guard the exit zone that you are trying to go through so you can lead the lines of survivors to the escape zone.  Your goal is to rescue enough people before the evacuation boat arrives and you clear that stage.

Not for nothing but does all this sound a little familiar to some?  For $9.99 I for one would think this was some kind of online game that you would play for free to pass the time, but I hope that I am wrong about that statement.  Before you lay down the money for The Last Guy you can download a free one level demo and check it out for yourself.
