Metallica’s forthcoming ninth album, Death Magnetic, is coming to Guitar Hero 3 this Friday. The release of the album and the DLC is something unprecedented in the music or gaming world.
All 10 songs will be available, including 2 exclusive recordings of Suicide and Redemption with solos by James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett. The album will set you back 1440 ($18) Microsoft points or $17.99 on the PSN.
In addition to being able to play the tracks in Guitar Hero 3, they will also be compatible with Guitar Hero:World Tour when it releases this October.
