I dont know..on the upside I guess its a way to make sure die hard fans can get into the beta. Anyone can buy a copy on day one, but its the real fans who will pre-order to get the beta so its only right that they should to get one. Not everyone that is a die hard resistance fan can be on message boards or twitter all day like most of us, so I just see it as another way for fans to get in.

Yes. That's one of the biggest problems. Why would you reward somebody for reserving the game when you're trying to push QORE? Reservations can be cancelled…your QORE subscription can't.

Either way, I'm ready to get my hands on this beast. This game will determine whether I buy a 360 again or not for Gears of War 2. I know…I know. The games are nothing alike. But if this game can fill that shooter need we all have, I think I'll be happy with keeping the PS3 as my only system.

So if i pre-order, i MIGHT get into the beta?? oh how lame! i want to be sure i get one if i pre-order…. im getting the game anyways, so i guess it doesnt really matter. lol
