Storage Solution For Xbox 360?



So the New Xbox Experience is right around the corner and it requires a minimum of a 256MB memory card.  What are the owners of the Xbox Arcade Edition supposed to do go and buy another memory card or even a hard drive?  Was this Microsoft’s thinking all along?  Well the answer is no!  Here is what Major Nelson had to say about the required memory problem that some where going to be faced with.

The new Xbox experience will require 128MB of free space. A hard drive is recommended for the optimal experience, to take advantage of some new features, and to be able to enjoy the great movies, TV shows and games available on Xbox LIVE. While we expect the majority of consumers to download the New Xbox Experience without a problem, a small percentage of Xbox 360 owners do not have enough memory to accommodate the update. To help ensure all Xbox LIVE members are able to download the New Xbox Experience and enjoy its new features, Microsoft will be offering storage solutions to the Xbox LIVE community. We are not sharing details of this offering yet. Be sure to check xbox.com for more details in the coming weeks.”

    hello MS? how bout stop selling the "tard" pack and you would have to worry about this! seriously what true gamer is sporting the 64mb memory card? GO BUY A HD!

    what about your profile? will it still be ok it use with a 64MB card? I had my HDD but I save my profile to my card, will it still work?

    why would it not? you can have your profile on the 64, but the NXE is going to need to be on a 256/512 MU or the HDD

    if all they have is a 64mb MU then they are going to have to get something, Yes? so $50 on 512 MB MU or get a used $20 GB HD for less.. hmm which to do? plus the $100 60 GB HD also comes with a year of Live. so $50 HD and $50 for live…
