This week we had two major game conferences, TGS (Tokyo Game show) and Blizzcon. There was a ton of announcements that came from these shows like the New Xbox experience release date, and the lack of a price drop for the Ps3. Over at the Blizzcon side of things, we got more information on Starcraft 2, the most pertinent being that its going to release in three parts which is either marketing genius or maybe a sign that there is a need for random drug testing in the marketing department.
What did not come out of TGS, is almost as interesting as what did, for one we heard a release date from Microsoft about the new dashboard, but heard noting from Sony on the public release for the now joke vaporware called Home. I know that this has started a flame war on some other forums out there, but don’t worry my fellow Sony gamers, because for the first time in the two years that home was announced it survived all the gaming conferences without news of a delay, whoo hoo!!
Now for you Nintendo smug Wii owners…(Im sorry Wii owners aren’t all smug) when is Nintendo going to fix the memory problem on the Wii? 512 mb of memory doesn’t cut it for a ipod owner let alone gamers, but for
Tabari Wii isn’t for hardcore gamers like you its for your grandmother. While that maybe true you have to remember that the Way is approaching its third year even if grandma downloaded the classic games from the virtual console you’ll notice that the memory slots are fading quickly even if you deleted the extra channels like check mii out and the internet channel you still have a tough time defending Nintendo from this kind of criticism.
Till next time, cheers!!
