I think it's absolutely hilarious that people like Wanker are saying that people will use it 1/100 % of the time. That's funny coming from a person that just got through ranting that numbers don't mean anything. Well…why are you using this site? You spend time every day coming to this site giving out your opinions while you could be gaming. You spend countless minutes perusing the latest stories and forums too. Here's an accurate analogy. Saying people won't use HOME a lot is like saying people won't use the Internet a lot.

What if PLATFORM NATION wasn't just a website? What if it was a virtual world where you could pop in and visit. Perhaps debate issues in real time with other PNers? Post audio news stories and videos in certain sections of the PN Mansion. Join the PN group for Gaming Night instead of waiting on the site. Have award presentations and small in-HOME competitions for Giveaways. Almost everything you do on here can be duplicated in real-time in HOME. Think it can't be done….look at Life With PlayStation. It's called multitasking.

The problem is…people are so busy being negative and judgmental, they fail to utilize this powerful tool that Sony has given them. Rest assured, you'll see websites and clans do this sooner or later.

Gamers need to stop hating and start participating. Don't knock everything. Try being positive before you just write off everything. I don't want a 360 again but I'm not going to knock Microsoft for doing their dashboard thing. That doesn't interest me, but it's a great addition for people that choose to stick with the console.

As for Wanker's false analogy…if you actually owned a Porsche, it would be incredibly stupid to drive it every day. That's not an every day car…it's a pleasure vehicle. If you have the money to buy a Porsche, you'd have the money to buy a second vehicle which you use for day-to-day driving. I used small words just for you.

Home to me is going to be like having a Porsche and taking it out of the garage once a year, if that. I don't think it's worth the time and money Sony is putting in it, regardless of how nice it's going to be. Meaning the other 99/100 will be spent actually playing games, like MGS4 or LBP or whatever trips their trigger, or they'll be watching movies.

As for Xbox Experience, the avatars look like upgrades of the plain looking Miis. Yet, they still look just as dorky.

HOME is something that is meant to help clans and gamers alike expand their horizons. Tactical planning using 3D models of actual maps from Resistance 2 in game spaces is just one of many ways this can be beneficial.

HOME is a tool podcasters can use to get new guests on their show or create free advertising to bring attention to their gaming sites.

For both NXE and Home, the ability to get in a party and move from activity to activity is appealing to me. That would take the online experience one step closer to hanging out at the same place. This is the only thing I am really excited about.

Of course I would have much rather that both Microsoft and Sony just put their money into a creative game, or lowering prices so that more people can "Jump In" or "Play Beyond."

I guess that means if you need to record my vote, put me in the "neither" category.
