Well here is another solution that you may want to consider. Even though this is not confirmed by Microsoft, but has shown up on retailers listings, with Gamestop dating this for November 4.
Set to release on that date is the Xbox Live Starter Pack, which is to include a 60GB hard drive, a Xbox Live Headset, a Three Month Xbox Live Gold Subscription and a Ethernet Cable all for $99.
This is not a bad deal, but if you add the $99 to the price you paid for the Arcade Edition you now have the price of the Xbox 360 Pro Edition. To those that have the 20GB older models here will be your chance to upgrade your HDD.
