Price Cuts Over For Xbox 360



If you are in hopes of another price cut for the Xbox 360 for the holidays, think again.  Microsoft has no plans to lower the already slashed price of their Xbox 360 models.

“We’ve obviously just reduced the price and that’s because we can pass the costs reductions we have straight on to consumers,” McGill explained. “I’m not going to speculate where [the price] might go in five or ten years time.”

Microsoft slashed the prices back in September by lowering their prices $50 to $80.  Lets see if they are going to offer a holiday pack for the holidays.

    they are already offering a holiday pack. the arcade is coming with Sega Superstar Tennis and the Pro/Elite are coming with Kung Fu Panda and Lgo Indiana Jones.
    Both great deals and i see no need for a price cut in the near future. MS already has the lowest priced console and the best games!

    I understand why people ask for price reductions but neither system needs one.

    I know…many people think the PS3 needs one. Why? It's selling just fine. The PS3, PS2, and PSP are making money for Sony so why lower the price of your best console?

    I never understood the obsession with increasing the number of console owners out there. It doesn't reduce the price of games. We can see that from the Wii sales. These companies selling more consoles does absolutely nothing for us as gamers.

    As far as quality games on each console, I'll have to stick with the PS3 on that one.
