Pavement – Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain

This weeks album is Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain by the indie legends Pavement. It is the, Stockton, CA based, band’s second album and their most sucessful. Coming out in 1993, this album proved that a band could gain marginal sucess without the backing of a major label. Spawning a couple big college radio hits this album was able to crack the billboards top 200. Led by Stephen Malkmus the band was able to put out five albums over their 10 year career that ended in 1999.
Though the biggest reason you should check out this album is becuase it is by my favorite band of all time and you will hurt my feelings if you don’t at least watch the videos after the jump.
