Xbox Live Primetime Coming in Spring

The content of each show is determined at their own discretion and may contain explicit content but part of what we strive for here at Platform Nation is to never interfere with the content of a member's show.

At the Microsoft keynote prior to the opening of the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show, Robbie Bach demoed and announced that Xbox Live Primetime, the live, scheduled multiplayer game show channel on Xbox Live, would be available this Spring. The demo showed how the player, in this case being the 1 in NBC’s 1 vs. 100, would be competing against several other competitors at one time over Xbox Live.

While 1 vs. 100 may not be at the top of everyone’s list for trivia games online (Hi, You Don’t Know Jack!), this framework could be great for all sorts of different applications on Xbox Live for delivering fun experiences to the masses. Plus, I’m a sucker for a trivia game, even if Danny Tanner hosts it.

What do you think of Xbox Live Primetime now that it is only a few short months away?
