Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune (PS3) TQ Review

When playing. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune you will quickly see and be reminded of Tomb Raider the male version. This game in every way is better, more entertaining, and drop dead better looking than any Tomb Raider game.

Controls: The controls are very easy to get used to, just like almost every game, there is an on screen display of the controls when needed. It is very easy to adapt to the controls.

Graphics: Even at 720p, Uncharted is definitely one of the best looking games on the PS3. Cut scenes look beautiful. But the highlight in this game is the beautiful/crystal clear/”I wanna drink it right now” WATER.

Sound: Sound is great, did not get a chance to play with 5.1 surround but definitely did not disappoint. Intense music playing during battles with enemies, made the gun fight/fist fight even more intense and entertaining.

Replay Value/Story:The story is based on the search for “El Dorado” also known as a big golden statue. There are also many quizzes and puzzles that you need to figure out in order to get to another level, which made me want to play the game even more. This game is a MUST own. All PS3 owners should own a copy or at least play the whole game once. The campaign is about 8 hours of action packed,non-stop fire, puzzle, crazy plot twist, that gets better and better the further you get in to it. With the recent update of trophies, you now have a bigger reason to look for the hidden treasures and use deadly combos while playing one of the most entertaining games on the PS3

Wishes or Changes: Make jumps a little more realistic, some jumps seemed really fake when compared to others in the game. AI needs some improvements. Enemies appear to be a bit dumb at times.

TQ bottom line Michela Rating: Reminds me of tomb raider the guy version, but better… way better with awesome graphics and an awesome story line.

5 out 5 Michelas
