EA Confirms Sequals and Delays

EA has confirmed that Battlefield: Bad Company will be getting a sequel in 2010 on “multiple consoles”; also getting a release on more than just the Xbox 360 is Mass Effect 2, at least EA kept their promise and never ported the original. Both of these games are some of the best available in their respective genres and Mass Effect will make a great addition to the Ps3’s quickly growing software library.
EA has also announced delays for some of their bigger titles. Sims 3 has been delayed to June and the non-PC versions have been pushed back even farther. Godfather II has also been delayed to April and Bioware’s RPG Dragon Age has also been pushed back to second half of 2009.

On top of all this EA has also released their financial reports for Q3 2008, showing they accounted for 20% of all games sales in North America and 16% in Europe. Among their biggest sellers is FIFA 09 which sold a whopping 7.8 million units in 2008.
