Hot off the press from the Criterion Games blog, the upcoming (as in this week) Legendary Car Pack DLC has been officially priced.

I’m not sure how you guys feel, but I actually think that they might be asking a little to much for these. While I love the guys at Criterion Games, and I love all the free content that they have given us in the past, 7.99 for 4 cars, or 3.99 for the Jansen 88 Special just seems like a bit much. Regardless of this, I will still be picking this up on day 1 on the PlayStation 3.

    Unbelievable ripoff. I hate how you guys are justifying the price because they gave us free stuff before. A rip is a rip, you cant judge this content based on past free updates. Charging anything over $1 is a huge ripoff for a model.

    $4 for a car? seriously? Is it even different than normal cars? The hovering just looks like a invisible section under the car.

    Call me nuts, but I will so buy this… mostly for the Jansen.

    I will be getting this, because of all of the free content they have given us. $8 for 4 new cars, and to support to the developers of the best supported game probably of all time is well worth it. Way better value than a spruced up Gears map pack, or Knot Hole island. And Racingfreak, there is absolutely no DLC that costs $1, that isn’t even a realistic complaint.
