It’s the dawn of a new era, or the end of an old one, depending on how you look at it.

The new improved Humpdate details get announced, courtesy of GamerEdie Sellers and Cyberpunks Gaming Podcast’s Simon DI, who sits in for one last regular Humpdate show.

In addition to offering details about the future of the Humpdate, Simon and Edie hit up the gaming news, including:

• Ubisoft officially announces it will publish The Wheelman and that it will launch March 24.
• Having trouble with your Mad Catz SFIV Fightstick? You’re not the only one.
• If you used an email service like Gmail or Hotmail for your Gamertag, you might want to login once in a while, or bad things happen.
• Dead Space coming to the Wii as a prequel titled Dead Space Extraction.
• Bad economy hits G4. Xplay and Attack of the Show to get cutbacks beginning March.
• Live in the UK and expecting a son? Name him “Jason” and win free games for a year.
• Random Stuff: Braid to hit PCs on March 31 for $15; Nintendo DSi launches April 5; Burnout Legendary Pack on February 19 for $1.99 and up.
