PSN Now Has Over 20 Million Accounts

Sony have announced they have 2 million users in Japan, and now 20 million PSN accounts worldwide.

This is a milestone for Sony, irregardless of the fact that it’s a free service, because that’s a big chunk of their PS3 user-base that are potentially using their download service.

And on a similar subject, Xbox Live has 17 Million members.

Thats an odd number because the install base is only a little over 20 mil worldwide. You are trying to tell me everyone is online? It’s also tainted because of account sharing and the fact you can’t change names. Name changers have to create a new account.

Yea I mean it’s not 20 million unique users, but they don’t post that figure, same as MS doesn’t say whether their members are Gold or Silver.

Still alot of PSN accounts though.
