Puzzle Quest: Glactrix will be getting the nod for next week’s Xbox Live Arcade’s release for Wednesday, April 8.
While the DS and PC version of the game have already been out for a little while. PSN users will still need to wait a bit longer with only a vague ‘this spring’ release window announced so far.
This new version of Puzzle Quest isn’t a sequel to the “Challenge of the Warlords” as it’ll take place in a science fiction setting in space. The puzzle layout is changed using a hexagonal puzzle board. The RPG elements are still in the game, but instead of upgrading weapons and armor, you’ll upgrade your spacecraft. Fans of the previous Puzzle Quest should expect a deep story.
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix will support online multiplayer, matchmaking, leaderboards, voice chat and more for a full-spectrum online play experience.
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is developed by Infinite Interactive Pty. Ltd and published by D3Publisher.
