Wal-Mart Gets In On Trade-Ins
This article was written by: Scott diMonda (WCC5723)A recent trip to a local Wal-Mart I saw what appeared to be a new vending machine and as I approached it I thought it was a vending machine that sold video games, but to my surprise I found out that this new vending machine does not dispense video games as I thought, but instead the machine is there to take your game trade-ins The new vending machine will take PlayStation 2 and 3 games as well as Xbox and 360 games and also Wii games. All you have to do is insert your game that you want to trade-in and the machine will give you back a slip with store credit. I do not know what they give you per game as I am not one to trade my games in or am brave enough to insert a perfectly good game into the machine just to dictate how much store credit I will receive for my previously used game. So if you have tried the machine out let me know what you think about it and how much they give for a game. I will check the area out when I go into Wal-Mart just to see if anyone is using the machine, because when I asked Wal-Mart employees about the new trade-in vending machine they had no details or even knew how to use it, or what they where going to do with the used games? Will Wal-Mart start selling used games? Keep an eye out for the Wal-Mart’s Video Game Buy Back machines at your local Wal-Mart and while checking out the electronics section see if you see any used games for sale.

I think I may be going blind or this is another horrible iphone picture used for a news story.
