Guitar Hero V Artists Revealed

As you may well be aware, we can no longer for for six months without Activision releasing another Guitar Hero game. This year’s offering is Guitar Hero V, whish is essentially a sequel to Guitar Hero: World Tour in that it will offer full band play. In addition to allowing for any instrument combination (multiple vocalists, guitarists, etc), players will now be able to seamlessly jump in and out of certain game modes without interrupting play for others. The game will feature a diverse lineup of 85 artists, including a few new faces to the franchise (Public Enemy, Gorrilaz, and Stevie Wonder are some of the standouts in my opinion). The Guitar Hero website has published the full list, which is reposted below. Guitar Hero V releases September 1, 2009.

So then, fellow gamers, does it feel like it’s worth it to pay another $60 for these artists? Granted, we don’t know any specific songs yet, but this does appear to be a rather large offering. I for one, am pretty interested in this game; some of the game modes will be perfect for parties, and the inclusion of multiple vocalists could make for some great fun.
