Microsoft announced at it’s E3 press conference today that Xbox 360 users will soon be able to connect and interact with several popular online social networks.
On Facebook, users will be able to share photos, update their status, and even share screen shots directly from games that will be compatible with Facebook Connect starting with the next version of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR.
Last.fm integration will give users access to millions of streamed songs from the online music streaming service.
And finally on Twitter, users will be able to send tweets, follow other users, and receive updates from the people they follow.
With the exception of the screen shot sharing with Facebook, there haven’t been any earth shattering features announced for social media on the Xbox 360, but just having access to these services on you television through the console is a huge step in the right direction.
