Star War: The Old Republic is set 3,500 years before the Star Wars movies and 300 years after Knight of the Old Republic. The Old Republic is set with the Gallactic Empire (Jedi Allies) and the Sith Empire against one another in this MMO. The Old Republic is BioWare’s first try in the MMORPG gaming market.
