1 vs. 100, A Homerun For Microsoft

I’m not sure if any of you have had a chance to check out the Microsoft Xbox Live beta of 1 vs. 100, but if you haven’t yet, you’re only cheating yourself.

For those that don’t know, 1 vs. 100 is based off a gameshow where 1 person gets pitted against 100 other people in a trivia type of gameshow.  One Xbox Live, one person is pitted against the group, two days ago when I was playing it, we actually had over 90,000 people playing this game.

Now, 1 vs. 100 has several great things going for it, first off, it is free to play!  You just download the game and when a game is going on you just jump right in and go at it.  Second, there will be real prizes!  You will actually be able to win things like Microsoft Points, Xbox Live Arcade Games, etc.  1 vs. 100 (the game) will actually be played during the same time as it’s primetime TV counterpart.  1 vs. 100 adds a group mode to the game as well, because of this you will now be able to play the game with your friends which adds a whole ‘nother level to the game and just makes this that much more enjoyable to play.

If you haven’t had a chance to play this gem of a game, you have to make sure you go ahead and do it, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

You can find 1 vs. 100 on your Xbox 360’s dashboard under the spotlight section.  All you need to do is set a reminder for the next game and you will jump right on it.

And I have a quick question for those of you that have already played it?  What did you guys think about it?  Do you also think it will be a huge success for Xbox Live?   Speaking for myself, I know this is enough reason for me to keep my paid Xbox Live subscription going.

  • I enjoyed the game I think this will be a grand slam for MS!

  • Don’t forget that in between the primetime shows that they have extended trivia games. Kinda like a warm-up. There is at least four a night for the next couple of nights
