Modern Warfare 2 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated titles of this year, but Activision wants to ensure that when the game drops this November it will be “biggest entertainment launch of all time.”
To that end, Activision has recently contracted with advertising agency TBWA/Chiat/Day to create a campaign to ensure that the Modern Warfare 2 launch is a massive success that dwarfs any movie or game release to date. With an impressive portfolio and an extensive clientele list including the likes of Apple, TBWA certainly has the capability to create a successful marketing plan. All that remains to be seen is how TBWA will execute their campaign.
