Monolith has already released two multiplayer add-ons for their first-person shooter sequel F.E.A.R. 2. Now IGN is reporting that Monolith will release a third DLC offering for the game; however this time the expansion, titled F.E.A.R.2: Reborn, will add a new single-player mini-campaign to the game.
In a chat with Monolith’s Associate Producer Lucas Myers, it’s revealed that Reborn will feature four new single player levels with the player controlling Foxtrot 813, one of the replica soldiers that serves as one of the many opponents in the main single player campaign. The DLC is scheduled to be released this August; it’s unknown if the PC version will receive it at this point but PC players did get the previous two multiplayer DLC releases at no cost as part of a patch.
