Valve revealed the latest DLC info for the original Left 4 Dead today. The DLC, which will be a playable campaign that bridges the gap between the No Mercy and Death Toll campaigns, will be available sometime in September.
All modes will be available in the new campaign. Other additions include a recharge timer for infected team mates and tweaks to item spawns. These changes are intended to balance the gameplay.
The DLC will be available to both PC players and their Xbox 360 brethren. The catch is that Xbox 360 players will be charged 560 MSP or $7 for the update.
While no one is arguing that Valve has every right to charge for their work, I really have to question the price. $7 seems a little steep for one campaign. Especially considering Left 4 Dead 2 will be out in a few months.
