For the price of $299 you can get yourself one of the newly announced PS3 Slim consoles. This awesome improvement to the PS3 will be 32% smaller, 36% lighter and will use 34% less power. But it will have the same features as the current PS3 console. So you won’t be loosing anything by getting this console.

Along with the announcement comes a new price for any PS3 console, starting tomorrow, the price of the current PS3 and also the price of the new PS3 Slim is going to be $299, 299 Euro and 29,980 Yen.

The PS3 Slim is going to be available starting in the first week of September for $299!
