I'm glad that it is more real and very visceral I agree the damage system is quite poor but this game is definately a step in the right direction. It just puzzles me that they wait till after the game is released before bring a demo out, I've never got that !! I believed EA was finally turning this series around after the last couple games that were terrible. EA promised a "realistic" experience but i dont think drifting around corners and flipping opponents by rear ending them is realistic. Dont even get me started on the bare bones damage system. If you are looking for a fun racing game buy one of the excellent games from Codemasters, GRID or Dirt 2. I got caught in the hype for this game.
