Oh yeah, I meant to address this as well: @TheGreatRobu

"I also forgot to add that sony dont have trophy support for all of its games even though the 360 does."
-Uh yes they do, and trophies are in my opinion FAR superior than gamerpoints (but props to Microsoft for coming up with the initial idea)

"Sony half assed the back compat when they had it, and then they decided to get rid of it under the disguise that they dont need it since the ps2 is still selling"
-Actually they're right, the PS2 is still selling like crazy, I work at Gamestop so I know. Also there's strong evidence that they're trying to bring a software solution to PS2 backward compatibility on the PS3, so that won't be an issue for long.

"Sony keeps losing their exclusives like the Final Fantasy franchise. Even the game companies themselves realize that they would be losing money if they just stick with Sony like they did in the past cause the ps3 dont have the same stroke that the ps2 had."
-Of course game companies realize they're losing potential money if they only sell their game on one console. The reason that Sony is losing so many exclusives and Microsoft isn't, is because Sony had way more of them to lose from the PS2. It's way smarter for a company to sell their game for multiple consoles because then more people can buy their game.

"Sony has this mindset like Hitler, where you will take what ever crap they throw out and you will like it or you wont have anything at all."
-Dumb

"They refuse to listen to their fans. want an example? How long have people been wanting a better online experience with the ps3? How long have people been wanting a second thumb stick on the psp? How long have people wanted an honest attempt at backwards compatibility? and how well has sony ignored their fans pleas for all of this? I rest my case.."
-I don't know how recently you've checked PSN, but it is WAY better than it used to be and it's a good online experience now. A second joystick on the PSP while still in its 10 year cycle would be dumb. People who bought the original PSP would not be able to play new games that require a second joystick. Wait for the PSP2 if you want a second joystick, it'll be there. I already answered the backwards compatibility issue above so from my experience Sony listens to it's fanbase quite a bit. I'm glad you rest your case because it was a severely uneducated one.

In my opinion, you're paying $50 a year for something that just looks a little different. When it comes down to just playing games online, you can get the same experience on both consoles, except on PSN you don't have to pay for it.

Microsoft should get rid of their monthly fee for people who simply want to play their games online and don't want to use Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, and all that other stuff on their VIDEO GAME CONSOLE. That's what computers are for. Microsoft, make it free for people who want to play games online on their game console, and charge people who want to use all that other crap a monthly fee. The only reason they get away with charging a monthly fee now is because they know people will pay for it.

As far as servers and graphics being better on one console or the other, there's not a huge difference on each side, and both sides have different games which perform better on certain consoles compared to the other. As someone mentioned above, the difference is whether the publisher made the game with the 360 in mind and then ported over, or vice versa.

My suggestion - get a PS3 for all of their awesome exclusives (which look WAY better than any 360 exclusives), and then get any 360 exclusives that you want for the PC (which most, if not all, of them are released for as well), where you can play them online for free.(Plus you can use facebook, twitter, and netflix if you so desire). See there? Problem solved.

Everyone knows that Hitler's biggest flaw was he did not listen to his fans. That was definitely his biggest flaw. I can not even think of one other thing that anyone could ever think was bad about him. That has to be what the history books remember about him. "Hitler: he did not take constructive criticism to heart."

Since Sony hasn't put another analog nub on the PSP (which I agree they should do) it absolutely means that Hitler is the obvious comparison to make. I mean no second analog nub has committed genocide on my interest to buy a PSP so they are pretty close.

I also forgot to add that sony dont have trophy support for all of its games even though the 360 does.

Sony half assed the back compat when they had it, and then they decided to get rid of it under the disguise that they dont need it since the ps2 is still selling (which is B.S., cause the 360 has a pretty big library of back compat, and even supported it when people were still buying the first xbox)

The ps3 browser is a joke. I had to reformat my ps3 after using the browser, cause my ps3 got a virus. (and no i didn't get on any porn sites with it, just myspace, and youtube). the browser is also hard to work with.

"You can tell from his writing."

'not really a negative thing for PSN, just pointless. Thank god Microsoft didn’t follow the lead.'

'£40 for a whole year of XBL is actually, in my opinion, a lot of money for a very nice service.'

'The one time my Xbox RROD, I got it back in one week. Very helpful service.'

Read the actual article before actually commenting :)

"you gotta be shittin me only reason i would get a xbox is to play halo"

And gears and mass effect and... a hell of a lot more (Left4Dead, Braid, GTA IV DLC)

"You buy all games for your PS3 and have only had a 360 for a year. This article is NULL and VOID."

Just because I don't play my 360 doesn't mean I don't know it inside and out. I go on it everyday, I check every update and the only thing I don't do is buy games for it. For the simple reason that all of my friends have PS3s.

wow, OK there was no point what so ever in this article.

Just another way for a gaystation wii (my name for the ps3 with the dumb ice cream cone looking wand thing that is supposed to be their answer to the wii) owner to put something out on the net.

Maybe this article would be justified if he actually spent some actually playing games on the 360.

I also think its funny how he pretty much just gave an excuse in the visuals part by adding "simplicity" to it. He knows just like every other ps3 fanboy that the graphics more multi platform games just look better on the 360. He just wants people to forget about that and focus on something else.

"stop the fanboys"??? Yeah, this coming from a fanboy himself. You can tell from his writing..

you gotta be shittin me only reason i would get a xbox is to play halo... thats about it. dont get be me wrong the graphics r a tad bit better but i love the free access. home is not pointless, look at it as a virtual chat room. sometimes you may get tired of playing games and you just wanna step outside and meet new friends and a few chicks. i love my blu-ray, that means.. no more scratched cds/dvds so technically i think one would spend less with the ps3 if you dont buy every movie or classic game you see.... who said you have to buy head sets??? i always use my blue tooth.

XBLA is better no doubt.
but its not 50 bucks a year better.
i wish sony would spend some popper cash and update their servers.
ive been downloading the mag beta 2661.35MB update since 6PM last night its now 8:11PM and its only done 860MBs.
its done 860MBs in 26 hours and 14 minutes.
you have to be fucking shitting me.
seriously!
i can download FULL GAMES! off my PC which average around 4GBs in 6 hours.
so my PC can download 4GBs in 6 hours where my ps3 takes 26 hours to do 860MBs?
so my PC can download 16GBs in 24 hours, roughly 20 times what my ps3 can do.
jesus fucking christ im really starting to regret buying a ps3.

Facebook, Twitter, and Netflix are already available on the PS3. Along with Youtube, Hulu, etc through the web browser.

A point that NO ONE thinks about is that you dont own ANY xbla games...Dont believe me? Try not renewing your subscription and playing those games youve already bought!! Ridiculous, with PSN you actually own the videos and games you buy. Can even backup movies and tv shows and game share upto 5 times/PSN account (which are free in themselves, so gamesharing is pretty infinite).

Home is a place not only to meet new people but to do ALOT as well. Golf, bowl, poker, pool, Siren mini games, racing, red bull plane challenge, theater, Sing Star is coming as well. Its more a social interaction than XBL...you can even talk via mics in Home.
