-Uh yes they do, and trophies are in my opinion FAR superior than gamerpoints (but props to Microsoft for coming up with the initial idea)

-Actually they’re right, the PS2 is still selling like crazy, I work at Gamestop so I know. Also there’s strong evidence that they’re trying to bring a software solution to PS2 backward compatibility on the PS3, so that won’t be an issue for long.

-Of course game companies realize they’re losing potential money if they only sell their game on one console. The reason that Sony is losing so many exclusives and Microsoft isn’t, is because Sony had way more of them to lose from the PS2. It’s way smarter for a company to sell their game for multiple consoles because then more people can buy their game.

-I don’t know how recently you’ve checked PSN, but it is WAY better than it used to be and it’s a good online experience now. A second joystick on the PSP while still in its 10 year cycle would be dumb. People who bought the original PSP would not be able to play new games that require a second joystick. Wait for the PSP2 if you want a second joystick, it’ll be there. I already answered the backwards compatibility issue above so from my experience Sony listens to it’s fanbase quite a bit. I’m glad you rest your case because it was a severely uneducated one.

Microsoft should get rid of their monthly fee for people who simply want to play their games online and don’t want to use Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, and all that other stuff on their VIDEO GAME CONSOLE. That’s what computers are for. Microsoft, make it free for people who want to play games online on their game console, and charge people who want to use all that other crap a monthly fee. The only reason they get away with charging a monthly fee now is because they know people will pay for it.

As far as servers and graphics being better on one console or the other, there’s not a huge difference on each side, and both sides have different games which perform better on certain consoles compared to the other. As someone mentioned above, the difference is whether the publisher made the game with the 360 in mind and then ported over, or vice versa.

My suggestion – get a PS3 for all of their awesome exclusives (which look WAY better than any 360 exclusives), and then get any 360 exclusives that you want for the PC (which most, if not all, of them are released for as well), where you can play them online for free.(Plus you can use facebook, twitter, and netflix if you so desire). See there? Problem solved.

Since Sony hasn’t put another analog nub on the PSP (which I agree they should do) it absolutely means that Hitler is the obvious comparison to make. I mean no second analog nub has committed genocide on my interest to buy a PSP so they are pretty close.

The ps3 browser is a joke. I had to reformat my ps3 after using the browser, cause my ps3 got a virus. (and no i didn’t get on any porn sites with it, just myspace, and youtube). the browser is also hard to work with.

Just because I don’t play my 360 doesn’t mean I don’t know it inside and out. I go on it everyday, I check every update and the only thing I don’t do is buy games for it. For the simple reason that all of my friends have PS3s.

I also think its funny how he pretty much just gave an excuse in the visuals part by adding “simplicity” to it. He knows just like every other ps3 fanboy that the graphics more multi platform games just look better on the 360. He just wants people to forget about that and focus on something else.

A point that NO ONE thinks about is that you dont own ANY xbla games…Dont believe me? Try not renewing your subscription and playing those games youve already bought!! Ridiculous, with PSN you actually own the videos and games you buy. Can even backup movies and tv shows and game share upto 5 times/PSN account (which are free in themselves, so gamesharing is pretty infinite).

Home is a place not only to meet new people but to do ALOT as well. Golf, bowl, poker, pool, Siren mini games, racing, red bull plane challenge, theater, Sing Star is coming as well. Its more a social interaction than XBL…you can even talk via mics in Home.
