IGN Acquires WhatTheyPlay

IGN Entertainment has acquired WhatTheyPlay.

Co-founders John Davidson and Ira Becker created WhatTheyPlay in 2007 to give parents a source for information on the games that their children play.

Announcing the acquisition in his blog, former President Mr. Davidson added: “This project has been a labor of love for us, and we are immensely proud to see the brand we created together two years ago become part of the IGN Entertainment network.”
