Microsoft showed off some more Crackdown 2 videos at TGS 2009 earlier this week, including a 2-part 20-minute demonstration, detailing gameplay and background on what has happened since the first Crackdown’s ending. The other video is roughly two minutes of MP Deathmatch footage which is a welcomed addition to a title that, once the story was complete, the only thing to do was hunt for agility and ‘hidden’ orbs.
By the way, those orbs are back as well. Yeesh.
Other than a continuation of the previous storyline and the addition of a player-vs-player MP mode, Crackdown 2 looks to be a graphically-upgraded version of the previous title. Maybe Microsoft will include a beta code for Halo Reach in order to entice players to purchase this like they did with the Halo 3 beta for the first Crackdown. That is pure speculation, by the way.
Disclaimer: First two videos are 10 minutes each and will take time to load. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
