Release Round-Up for the Week of October 26

As always in the US, Tuesday is a busy day for game releases. The big titles this week are going to leave wallets lean and gamers very, very busy.

DJ Hero lets us add a turn table to our growing collection of plastic, musical instruments. Spin and scratch to your heart’s content on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii.

Forza Motorsport 3 races onto the scene on Tuesday as well. Whether you’re an avid engine tuner or are looking to create a visual masterpiece with the livery editor, Turn 10 has a little something for everyone in this highly anticipated Xbox 360 exclusive.

Tekken 6 does battle this week with 40 unique characters in this popular fighter. Fans can punch and kick their way to victory on either the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.

Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time ends the trilogy started by Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty. The Lombax and the robot team up again exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

League of Legends: Clash of the Fates leads the PC pack this week. This stand-alone successor to the Warcraft III mod, Defense of the Ancients, is to RTSs what Counterstrike is to shooters.

After a week delay, Borderlands for the PC finally hits retailers.

Grand Theft Auto’s one-two punch comes in the form of two episodes. On Wednesday, you can download The Ballad of Gay Tony. On Thursday, you can pick up Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, a stand-alone compilation of The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Both the download and the retail disc are available exclusively on the Xbox 360.
