Dave Grohl Flavored Rock Band Weekly (Nov 3-5)

As a tie-in of sorts to the music releases, Rock Band will release more Nirvana and Foo Fighter tracks for the Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3. On Tuesday November 3rd, Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighters will have Greatest Hits on store shelves. Greatest Hits collects 14 of their popular songs plus two new songs, “Wheels” and “Word Forward”. Both new songs will be included in the DLC along with two other songs from their Greatest Hits.

Not to be undone, Dave Grohl apears again as Sub Pop celebrates the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s Bleach. The 20th anniversary release will have the complete album and an unreleased live concert recorded in Portland, Oregon in 1990. Three songs from Bleach will find their way into next week’s Rock Band DLC.

Last but not least, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts sneak their way into the crowd with “Fake Friends” from the 1984 album, Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth.
