Final Fantasy XIII Gets a Release Date…Finally

Since it was announced at E3 2006, fans of Square-Enix’s venerated RPG series have been waiting patiently to get their Chocobo on. Well, dust off your Phoenix Downs and practice your Summon spells.

Final Fantasy XIII is being released on December 17, 2009 in Japan. North American and European fans can get their hands on the game on March 9, 2010, for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

    Very glad to here a date set, and it’s earlier than I thought it would be. I thought Spring in Japan, holidays in the US.

    Can’t wait to play it! Been waiting for so long.
