Get Some Free Comics For Your PSP

So you downloaded the newest update for your PSP and now you can see a new category on your XMB labeled Extras and underneath that it has a subcategory Digital Comics.  So what is this new service and what does it do?  The new Digital Comics will delivery comics straight to our PSP’s from the Digital Comic Store, but Sony will not start offering comics for sale until next month, but until then they have given out some free codes for people to checkout.  Here are the four free codes given out to American users and instructions on how to redeem the codes:

Instructions for redeeming Promotion Codes on your PSP® system

1. Open an account on PlayStation®Network (“PSN”), or use an existing account.
2. From the PlayStation®Network icon on the Xross Media Bar, select ‘Account Management’.
3. Select ‘Redeem Codes’.
4. Enter Promotion Code EC2N-9HBR-HJD6. Please note that the Promotion Code is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as displayed.
5. Once you have entered the Promotion Code correctly, click ‘Continue.’ Once you affirm your acceptance of the PSN Terms of Service and User Agreement and any Terms pertaining to this promotion by hitting, “continue”, you will be taken to the download screen.

I have downloaded the comics and was surprised by the use of the new feature.  The new feature will also allow you to play your music you have stored on your PSP while you are viewing your comics.  The Digital Comic feature is a must have for the comic fan on the go, what a better way to get your comic fix without worry about your favorite issue getting destroyed on the bus or the train.  So go check it out, it is free so you don’t have anything to lose.
