Racing News: Gran Turismo 5 Delayed, Forza 3 Gets 10 New Cars

by John Catuira

Sony recently announced the delay of their highly anticipated racing simulation, Gran Turismo 5.

This comes after several conflicting statements from Sony and Polyphony Digital about when the game would be released. The last official date came from a press event at the 2009 Tokyo Game Show where Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced a March 2010 launch.

Although the recent press release has delayed Gran Turismo 5, no reason or exact date was given.

On a more positive note, racing fans with a copy of Forza Motorsport 3 will be happy to know that Turn 10 is celebrating the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit with the “AutoWeek Car Show Pack”. This new bundle includes the following cars:

  • 2009 Audi RS 6
