Konami's Track & Field, Epyx's Games series, and the Activision Decathlon are still the top games in this genre. Konami, despite carrying the ESPN license in the PS2 era, wasn't able to really recapture its roots after International Track & Field for the PSX. The winter games were even worse than the summer ones. Olympic-style games peaked in the 1980s. Konami’s Track & Field, Epyx’s Games series, and the Activision Decathlon are still the top games in this genre.
