For all you PS3- and PC-only gamers that have been belly-aching about the fact that GTA4′s two expansions (‘The Lost and Damned’ and’ The Ballad of Gay Tony’) were EXCLUSIVE to the Xbox 360, you can now stop.
Yes, that’s correct. Your wishes have been granted. The double-episode set will be coming to BluRay Disc, PSN, and PC on March 30.
Via Geoff Keighley’s Twitter Feed:
GTA Episodes from Liberty City comes out March 30th on BluRay or you can download episodes on PSN.
While Keighley didn’t confirm it for the PC, IGN has:
“It’s been a long time coming, but we are proud to finally deliver Episodes From Liberty City for the PC and PlayStation 3,” said [Rockstar Game's] Sam Houser. “We appreciate the patience of our PlayStation 3 and PC fans worldwide, and we look forward to putting the games in your hands this March.”
I personally do not own GTA4 on the PC, nor do I have a PS3, but this is good news nonetheless. I hope the money that Microsoft spent on the amount of exclusive time was a good investment, but I doubt it.
Enjoy yourselves, as both expansions add a significant amount of story and extras to the original.
