Halo: Reach Won’t Be Using Natal Controls

There has been speculation that Bungies much anticipated title  Halo: Reach will be using Project Natal controls. It all began when Bungie president Harold Ryan said that Halo: Reach could be Natal enabled, but that was until Bungie mentioned this in their weekly update.
“Halo: Reach is NOT a Natal title and is being developed expressly with the traditional Xbox 360 controller in mind.”
So it seems that Halo: Reach will definitely not support Natal controls but does that mean they could be missing out on the Natal market by choosing not to include support for Natal or will the Halo fanboys and gamers alike just not really care at all. Personally I think Bungie should have at least included an option too use the controls with Natal because then gamers can say well at least I have a choice. Leave a comment on what your thoughts are on Bungie not including support for Natal below.

  • At least with Natal, there was potential for some innovation, something that Halo has lacked since Halo 2.

Either way, I won’t be picking this up because I’ll probably still be playing Mass Effect 2, DAO, or Alan Wake. Not to mention saving up for BRINNK.
