Sure, Dark Void had a rather dismal reception both critically and publicly. That doesn’t mean the soundtrack should suffer from such backlash, especially since the Bear McCreary composed the musical journey. Sumthing Else Music Works announced that the official Dark Void soundtrack is up for grabs in both CD and digital download formats.
The soundtrack features 80 minutes of scores chosen by Bear McCreary himself. There’s even a bonus track, “Theme from Dark Void (Mega Version),” that will tug at your 8-bit rendered heartstrings. Details on the soundtrack are available on Sumthing Else Music Works.
P.S.: If you don’t know who Bear McCreary is, I weep for you. Think back on the awesome scores in Battlestar Galactica or Sarah Connor Chronicles. One word: Epic.

I currently work as a social media maven and online community coordinator for video game clients. Basically, I do stuff that I'd be doing during my free time anyway. Whether it's coming up with concept ideas for E3 after parties or starting up the twitterisms, I'll be doing it. And when I'm off work, I can usually be found living vicariously through my consoles. I'll command zombie armies to commence Operation Z-Day. Or rock out like it's 1999 with plastic.
Besides video games, I have an obsessive love for food. I can cross utensils with the best of them as a remorseless, hungry omnivore set on consuming the tastiest damn thing on Earth. Is that a taco truck I see? You bet I'll be trying those tacos al pastor or maybe de lengua. Yeah, tongue. Suck it! Or a side of lightly seared foie gras with candied figs because it's buttery goodness. Those overstuffed geese died for something, and I'll honor their deaths by eating their fatty livers. From street food to Michelin-starred holy grails, I'll eat it. And take pictures as evidence. Because that's how I roll.
I absolutely love to geek out with communities of nerdgasmic doom. Just don't get too close to my awesomeness. I might melt your face. Fact.
