PopCap Games is bringing another of their hit games to the iPhone/iTouch platform. Having already seen success with other titles on the platform, such as Peggle, Plants Vs. Zombies will soon be available in the iTunes App Store.
For those unfamiliar with the title, it is a tower defense type game. You must protect your home from increasingly stronger zombie forces. Your arsenal of pea-shooting plants, cherry bombs and zombie eating plants are at your disposal to foil the zombie invasion.
Plants Vs. Zombies will be available for purchase in the App store on February 15. Price is not set at this time. However, if it follows the pricing of the other PopCap Games already available, it will most likely be set at $2.99.

I have been into gaming for as long as I can remember. It started when I was young with various systems. I owned a Commodore 64, a Vic 20, an Atari 2600. From there I graduated to a Nintendo and eventually a Sega Genesis. After growing up and moving on, I discovered the Dreamcast and purchased a Nintendo 64, and a Playstation system.
I've usually been a bit slower in adopting newer systems and that continued on into the PlayStation 2 and GameCube days. I bought each system about a year after their launch. The same holds true for the Microsoft XBox.
That all changed for me when Halo 2 came out and the online abilities of the XBox really held me captive.
I purchased my 360 on launch day after waiting in line for 11 hours. I bought a Wii as soon as I was able to obtain one from a store that had a big shipment and recently I purchased a PlayStation 3 for some exclusive platformer games.
To round out my gaming hardware, I purchased a DS Lite and a Sony PSP. I also recently purchased a nice gaming system with Vista and have been having fun playing some Games for Windows and the Live interactivity.
My 360 gets the most use with the DS coming in second.
I prefer RPG and Platformer games, but can have just as much fun in a FPS, Action or Driving game.
