The Bachelor Makes DS Stand For Dating Sim

If you’re one of the few people who would watch The Bachelor and read Platform Nation, you’re in luck; TV Guide reports that a iteration of the series will be available for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. With both the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii version of The Bachelor And Bachelorette running for $29.99, the Warner Bros.-published title will release in June.

Dating sims have never completely hit in America, with odd titles like Sprung coming out for the Nintendo DS, and Leisure Suit Larry taking more of a comedy/adventure route, and Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball focusing more on the relationship-building minigames than the actual relationship-building. Can The Bachelor And Bachelorette successfully bring the genre to America? … do we actually want it to?
